Running a creative business is equal parts passion and persistence. It’s early mornings editing until your eyes blur, it’s admin squeezed in between client calls, and it’s learning to balance creativity with logistics. But more than anything—it’s about people. The couples who trust you. The clients who come back again and again. The network of fellow creatives who inspire you.

That belief—that business is about more than just transactions—is at the heart of More Than Moments.


The Story Behind More Than Moments

Hi, I’m Kathryn. For over a decade, I’ve been immersed in the world of wedding and portrait photography. My love of photography began with personal memories—hours spent looking through my father’s old army photographs, my nana’s family albums, and my parents’ wedding photos. Those images showed me how powerful storytelling can be when it’s captured well.

But as much as I loved the artistry of photography, I quickly learned that being a photographer was about far more than clicking a shutter. It was running invoices, setting up systems, emailing clients at midnight, and constantly learning how to grow a business. There were many times I wished I had a roadmap, a set of tools, or even just someone reassuring me that I wasn’t alone in the overwhelm.

That’s why I created More Than Moments.

This is a space for photographers and small creative business owners to find the resources, templates, and education I wish I had in the early days. The goal? To help you feel supported and confident in your business, so you can spend less time buried in admin and more time doing the work you love.

Everything within More Than Moments comes back to four guiding values:
